Battery Cover

Has anyone else had issues with the battery cover being a little, for lack of better terms, creaky? Mine makes a lot of noise when I have it in my hand or if the back is pressed on.

Just doesn't seem solid. I am pretty sure its due to the two plastic pieces being fused together.

I will be calling Verizon in a few hours. Anyone else replace this?

Mine seems solid and makes no noise when holding/moving it around. I'd ask about a replacement if it concerns you.

Just getting a little annoying. The environment around me is pretty quiet and gets a little annoying to feel it in my hand...

Other than that, I love the phone.

Mine is sure a pain to get off--that's my only complaint.

Yeah I was having a competition with the battery cover of what will come off first...my finger nail, or the cover. So far I still have my nail. We'll see what happens when I get my replacement.

Everyone knows what a crack nail is... i had to grow out a "crack" nail to fit in between the crack of that cover! :rr:

I can't believe the things that some people will call verizon to complain about. if you called me to complain about plastic creaking i'd tell you to get bent and find another carrier.
anyway, to easily (easier) get back off pull your stylus almost all the way out but just before its out all the way pry gently up/down and the case will separate making it much easier to get the thing off. I have a hard plastic case on mine so my back pretty much stays on full time (i use an app to soft reset).

It is more the integrity of the device I'm concerned with. Plus, the glossy side of the battery cover is loose. The two halves don't seem to be fused together properly. Plus, the phone is less than two weeks old.

Talked to Verizon, they were very sorry such a new device wasn't "solid." New one will be here Tuesday.

ARGH!! YES!!! It's really hard to get the battery cover off. The hardest I've ever tried!!!! Pro2 took me what? 1 second perhaps? 2 at most.
Imagio was at least 2 minutes (I had to be carefull)

Battery covers are always cumbersome. Just use your key to pry or a small device to kind of pop it out. If your device has problems utilize your warranty.
