Re: soft reset app
Use Total Commander or other Registry Editor and these are the 2 keys (for each) in TouchFLO that control the Home Screen SoftKeys. The Path key is the executable you want to have run, the Text is the display Text on the softkey.
Left SoftKey HKLM\Software\HTC\manila\HomeLSKPath Example: \Windows\Start Menu\Program\Text.lnk HKLM\Software\HTC\manila\HomeLSKText Example: Text Right SoftKey HKLM\Software\HTC\manila\HomeRSKPath Default is: \Windows\DeviceLock.exe HKLM\Software\HTC\manila\HomeRSKText Default is: Lock |

Re: soft reset app
+1 for singh's reset app. Nice and simple, I didnt need skins or graphics, just a way to reset the phone (works on a touch pro 2) without opening the back cover. I use it instead of CleanRam since I had to restart Manilla/Touch Flo when I ran that app to gain any significant amount of memory so most times I would just soft reset the device anyway

Re: soft reset app
+infinity for xda shutdown bc i do like skins!!! I think it is cool when all your stuff has the same theme. Just my type A personality though. As long as it shuts it down and starts it up it's all good.

Re: soft reset app
When you remap the keys, can you specific command line options?
I've got a link in MobileShell right now to XDA Shutdown that skips the program and just blanks the screen and locks it. When the unlocker hits, I'm thinking about taking TouchFlo for another spin. Could I set that soft key to use the command line options to skip the program as well? |
