Outlook appointment reminders ahead by 1 hour

I've noticed that my outlook appointment reminders remind me (popup) at the correct hour, but display an hour ahead. For example, say I have a 9am outlook appointment. The reminder correctly pop ups at 9am, but displays it as 8am. Why is this?

Re: Outlook appointment reminders ahead by 1 hour

I have a similar problem when crossing time zones. I live in Michigan but do business in Chicago alot. I will set up the appointments while in the office in Eastern Time zone for 9 Am. When I get to the Central Time zone it should show as either 9am or as 10 am (the time in Eastern Time zone). However, my 9 appointment shows on the phone as 8. It gets a bit confusing. THis was really tough while in Las Vegas last month. Everything was off the wrong way by three hours.

So moral of the story, when you pick up the towers in another time zone, the calander adjusts accordingly. (wrong way imho)

Re: Outlook appointment reminders ahead by 1 hour

I live in NJ and work in NY and i also experience this problem. It can't be a tower issue as I am no where near the edge of the GMT -5 Eastern US. has to be something else.
