Video or Media Player Problem O_O

Thanx in advance for you time.

I just got my Imagio last weekend. I didn't flash it to any roms or anything yet, because I kind of like it like it is right now. The only thing is, I downloaded a movie in mp4 format and put it on my phone and here's what happens:

I play the movie. (It plays nicely.)

Something happens that I have to pause the movie. (Be it a call or knock at the door or what ever)

I come back to my phone and play the movie from where it left off.
But now, every 5 seconds almost exactly the navigation (Play, pause, stop, forward, etc) bar comes up as if I touched the screen.

It goes away and comes up again in 5 more seconds.

It does this through out the rest of the movie.

Any idea on how to stop this? (or maybe suggest a player I can download?)

I really didn't want to switch roms yet.

YEah seriously i'll praise anyone who knows how to fix this! the video quality is excellent but the whole pausing thing is really annyoing!

Looks like this is a problem with the HTC's video player on the Imagio. I have been using Windows Media Player instead.

P.S...I am still waiting patiently for the unlocker to be able to flash my Imagio to a custom ROM. It is not availabe as of yet. (nov17, 2009)

where do you get windows media player from, is it already on the imagio.

yea..it is included out of the box.

It worked for me when I changed the video frame rate to 15, If I set it to 24 or higher I get the problem.

At 15 it works perfectly. I use Any Video Converter as my converting program..
