Its great that they are fixing them but this is a good example why you dont want to be the first to have a new OS.
That's not to say that the Imagio doesn't have its own bugs. I'd feel better if HTC acknowledged that they were looking to fix things like the 1x mode problem, the weather location problem, etc. And give us WM 6.5.1!

I agree, i had 6.5.1 on my 6900 and i miss it.

I also wich TF3D was easier to customize. out of the box it is has good functionality but not much for being attractive.

The Eris has the same specs as the Image besides the screen

So, I have hope that it will be ported over fairly easy and work great

Re: I can proudly state I'm sticking with my Imagio...

I actually much preferred the Eris to the Moto Droid, and I find it funny/annoying that the Moto Droid is the "hyped" Verizon Droid phone.

I just want to restate, the purpose of this thread wasn't to bash Android, honestly I think it's fine, and I actually really do like the Eris. Instead, this was to honestly state I think the Imagio is THE phone on Verizon, and that the Android operating system, at least at this point in time, to me is overrated.

I agree, the eris was a nice looking phone and it did catch my attention. the droid quility is very poor IMO and not because it has android on it. I would say the same no matter what OS it had on it.

Re: I can proudly state I'm sticking with my Imagio...

Thanks, Im an alltel indirect agent and have been with HTC scince the 6700, 6800, TP and now as a Verizon Agent I am with the Imagio. I have been temped to try the droid as my main sales rep is using it and always has to show me the latest apps he has downloaded for it. But its just not the same. The camera is much better on the Imagio and as I am an Electrition myself i find my self using the camera on the TP to take equipment nameplate information and when i compaired the droid and imagio cameras the droid just wouldn't cut it. Its great to see all the geeks out their who are brave enough to mess with the software in their phones. I know what these things cost me and it would scare me to death to think i would have even a hint of geting a possible paperwheight from a failed hack. This post has helped me ease my mind. i guess im just in love with my htc's
