TomTom 7 kills my bluetooth

I installed Tomtom like I normally would on all my devices but with my Imagio for some reason I get a BTtray is not a valid CE app error when I reset it and this disables my Bluetooth. Any ideas why it would do this?

Rename these 2 files in your windows directory on phone:
BtCoreIf.dll
BtSdkCE30.dll
(for example: "BtCoreIf.old" "BtSdkCE30.old")
then reset, it will fix them.

I too have had this issue but can not rename the files, or let me delete them .
do I have to use some kind of program to unlock the windows files to edit them? they are read only, and the only way to restore my org is with a hard reset. Please help ! I want may tomtom .
thanks.

Re: TomTom 7 kills my bluetooth

Use file explorer thats competent enough to allow this, such as total commander(rename files), MS explorer is crap

OT but how do you find TT7 working for you? It was entirely too laggy for me to use so I migrated ti iGo8 (which works perfectly) but would prefer to go back to TT for the regular map updates they provide.

If you're not getting too much lag, what version are you using and are you using a port splitter program to redirect the output of the gps?

Re: TomTom 7 kills my bluetooth

thanks for the info , I installed and ran total commander on my phone but it still will not let me rename or delete or move any of the read only files, do I have to do any thing else that Im missing ? I know with my old PPC I had to run a unlock prog. Is that the same for the imagio ?
