how to figure out screen positions for Mortscript MouseClick command?

I'm trying to write a MortScript to disconnect the network connection (click on disconnect in the connections manager). What's the best way to find out the coordinates for a particular location in a menu? I eye-balled it relative to the screen resolution (480x800) but in testing it, it doesn't see right at all - the numbers don't seem to correspond to what I would think the coordinates would be. How do people do this besides exhaustive trial & error?

Mike

Re: how to figure out screen positions for Mortscript MouseClick command?

I didn't figure out the coordinates, but with the help of Egoist6 on xda-developers, I did figure out a script to disconnect the data connection:

Run "/Windows/CommManager.exe"
Sleep 1000
SendRightSoft()
Sleep 500
SendLeftSoft()

Re: how to figure out screen positions for Mortscript MouseClick command?

The easiest way to find screenshot coordinates is to take a screenshot of the screen you want to tap, and open it on your PC in MSPAINT. Now just mouse over the spot you want to tap, and in the bottom right of the MSPAINT window, it will show you your mouse coordinates. Hope this helps.
