Re: New Mod on Imagio

Duh, why not just turn your phone off and back on again?? I've had my phone almost a month and only reset it once -- and then didn't realize I could just turn it off and on. If you are having to reset that often, something is wrong with your phone.

Re: New Mod on Imagio

if your phone is locked up the power switch does you no good.

a lot of people like tweaking the hell out of their phones and tend to lock them up frequently when trying out new things.

having to pull the back cover every time is a pain.

The phone often locks up and when you are in a hurry to make a call or do something else and the soft reset is a quick easy way to get up and running. The shut down is okay but I don't how many times I could not get to it or the phone locks before I can get to the shut down button.

It is just an old school way of convenience. If you can't see the need, don't do it.

Re: New Mod on Imagio

I just press the END (red button) and power down, then press it again, power up. Haven't had lockup yet, thank God! Only installed WMWifiRouter, dotFred Task Manager and YouTube (original didn't work.) But yeah, when you're on bootloader screen you're stuck with having to take cover out. Not that you need to be in bootloader yet, no HSPL, but you soon will be...(PRAYING, HOPEFULLY)

I understand why you did this but i have to side with those who question the need. My phone has never locked up to the point that a soft reset didnt do the trick (either via the power button or a soft reset tweak).
