I'd love it if it were free.

pretty simple, just wait for it to expire.

Re: City ID

There is a way to remove it from your Imagio (mostly, at least). It is going to require a copy of SK Tools and either Total Commander or Resco Explorer.

1. In SK tools, you want to use the process viewer to kill the "cprog.exe" process (ignore the warnings)

2. In either TC or RE, navigate to your Windows folder and delete "CityID"

3. Go back to SK Tools and clear both "Invalid Registry Entries" and "Invalid Registry Values" (I really don't think this is necessary, but I'm a little OCD about computers, and I hate having hanging registry items)

4. Reboot.

You can also remove the CityID icon from \Windows\Start Menu\Programs

I just hard-reset because I'm doing some more experimenting, but in the expert view, there is a "Processes" selection. That will show you all the running processes. I'm sorry I can post a step-by-step at the moment.

I haven't had an issue with it re-appearing (until I hard reset, lol). A lot of things that are baked into the ROM which can be removed (e.g. Live Search) don't come back, although they are restored when you hard reset.

Since we are talking about this prog, does anyone know of another that does the same thing?
