finger keyboard 2.1 works great, just search for it on this website or xda-developers.

It's not free but spb keyboard is the one i use. I have a tp2 and I don't even use the physical keyboard that often. It has a free trial to test it out.

There should be a version without arrows.. The cab I downloaded was from a post that listed it with and without arrows

Try using BIGkeys w/ Finger Keyboard. I find this layout & size is really easy and fast to type.

The stock keyboard really works great, you just have to let go and trust it. Stop worrying about pressing the correct key all the time, just do whats natural and it will figure out the rest.

Finger keyboard is okay, but its not easy to turn the Xt9 on and off, and the auto correction doesn't work with it.

I have always used TouchPal since I got my vogue years ago, but I recently tried using the stock keyboard and noticed its just as easy and fast to use, and actually doesn't have some of the weird quirks TouchPal has.

Yeah I love TouchPal as well, especially since you don't have to toggle to get numbers, the tap and slide feature for caps and numbers is awesome.

I totally agree. I have been quite impressed with how well the auto correct and xt9 work to give me the word I am looking for. You can just bang away at the screen in the general area of the letter you're looking for and it will figure out your word rather well. TP2 BTW.

Um, I don't know if everyone knows this or not, but you don't have to toggle to get numbers, if you hold the key down for longer than 1 second, it will then pop up the options for a Number, symbol or the letter. I discovered this on accident.
