Completely new to WM and just got the Imagio

Hey all!

New to the forum and new to WinMo devices.

Honestly I don't even know how to start with this because I know nothing of windows devices so I need a lot of guidance.

Ok, here's initially what I am interested in doing...

First off, I was wondering if theres a way to change the clock to a black background. And if you can get rid of the verizon banner.

Also, I have NO idea how to get all these different software downloads to my phone. Do you just download it to your computer then drag and drop to a folder in the phone? For example sktools or something like that.

I know I want to get rid of all this verizon v-cast stuff thats on here to free up some memory.

I've looked at some threads and i kind of know what i want to be on my phone, the real problem is i dont know how to do that yet...

Well thanks everyone and glad to be a member!

Not sure about the clock, i know its possible just can't find the thread. Verizon banner I don't think you can get rid of just yet

To completely remove all the verizon apps a custom rom is required. Nobody has made a hardSPL for the imagio yet though. But for the time being this will help:

Yup, you can just copy and paste it anywhere on the phone, then open file explorer on the phone and run the cab file.

Welcome to winmo!

Thanks a lot!

Also, is the Imagio compatible with a microSDHC card?

Could be a problem with your phone. What is your card formatted as and what class is it?

Card is not formatted and its class 4.

Also, can you remove the time stamp in text messages? And can you remove the Call History and Calendar from the Home screen?
