Whats the deal with Skyfire?

I heard all these amazing things about skyfire- that its super fast, that it plays all sorts of videos, etc.

I downloaded it on my imagio, and it just looks... crappy. All the text and images are blurry, it doesn't zoom out to a whole page, its not that fast, it doesnt bring up other parts of webpages any quicker than opera. Am I delusional?

What other browser would anyone recommend? The newest opera beta was crashing too often for me.

Re: Whats the deal with Skyfire?

Skyfire doesn't run in native WVGA resolution right now so it's scaling up to fit the screen. Until they release a newer version that does, that is it's biggest downside.

Re: Whats the deal with Skyfire?

Skyfire is great on my 6800, not so much on the 6975. Sooner or later, they will release a new version that will work with the native graphics.

http://www.skyfire.com

Flash with no need to install anything, social networks, RSS, it is seriously nice.

(Images are low quality for forum speed) Look a lot better on my Imagio.

It does depend on the web pages. For some of the web pages I access,
It is the ONLY choice over Opera and IE.

Re: Whats the deal with Skyfire?

Adobe is supposed to be coming out with Flash 10 for windows Mobile by the end of the year. I started using Skyfire for Flash support, now I just love it.
