Change Lock link on Home Screen to S2U2
 

is there anyway to do this. Want to change when I click on the Lock button on the home screen to have S2U2 lock screen show up instead of the stock Lock screen.

dont believe so. I want to just change the link for when I click on the lock button on the home screen, the S2U2 Lock application runs.

I just dont know how.

Use the following registry edits to change the 2 Home screen softkeys. You can modify the Right key that is currently Lock to point to s2u2.exe instead of devicelock.exe.

Left SoftKey
HKLM\Software\HTC\manila\HomeLSKPath
Example: \Winodws\Start Menu\Program\Text.lnk
HKLM\Software\HTC\manila\HomeLSKText
Example: Text

Right SoftKey
HKLM\Software\HTC\manila\HomeRSKPath
Default is: \Windows\DeviceLock.exe
HKLM\Software\HTC\manila\HomeRSKText
Default is: Lock

which lines do I change exactly. also I installed the s2u2 cab to my device but cant find where the .exe file is located.

What should I put for default is:

found it, had to use sktools to find where it was located exactly:
\program files\s2u2\s2u2.exe

Just renamed this "Default is: \Windows\DeviceLock.exe" to that location and it worked.

I would think it should look like this:

HKLM\Software\HTC\manila\HomeRSKPath
Default is: \Program Files\S2U2\S2U2.exe (Or whatever the exe file is)

I don't have it installed and haven't used it in a while so I don't recall the exe name. You installed it to the device or Storage Card? If Storage Card, then it would need to be:

\Storage Card\Program Files\S2U2\S2U2.exe (Most likely)

The only thing I am still trying to find it getting the home screen buttons in color, i.e. contacts, email, messaging, weather, stocks etc..
