TXT Message sound

I'm trying to find a way to change the TXT Message sound to a custom tone. Any clues?

Re: TXT Message sound

I'm not sure what other formats it will use but I emailed an mp3 to the phone, saved it and then it showed up in the list of options
Settings / sound/ advanced/ notifications/ring type

Re: TXT Message sound

Ok, I did some more messing around with this, and it will only work if I save the tones in the root of my storage card.
If I put them in windows\rings, my domeuments\my ringtones, or even in a folder on the storage card they are not available for selection in New Txt message. Is that really the only way? I would rather keep my ringtones organized in a folder if possible

Question Re: TXT Message sound

I've tried to no avail to get new sounds for texts to show up in the drop down fields for notifications. Any ideas?
