Re: cameras slowness...any solutions?

There is a regedit to change the time delay. I saw that the time delay was 1500 for the default, which is 1.5 seconds. I dont recall the regedit, nor do I know if that time is needed for the software to operate correctly, but I figured I'd respond none-the-less.

Re: cameras slowness...any solutions?

You could try this registry edit. HKCU\SOFTWARE\HTC\Taskmanager\lite. Change "desired memory" from 4096 to 8192 and enable. Wait a few minutes and instead of soft reset turn the device off and then back on.

Try that alone first. Then if you wish, you can see if this makes things even better for you.

Use Advanced Configuration Tool to set the capture time to "0" original is 1500 I believe (which is 1.5 seconds). Then go to your camera settings and set the delay to "No Limit".

This may differ slightly on your Imagio, not sure though. If those settings are there, give em a shot. Like I mentioned, you may wanna try one, soft reset and see the effects. Then try the other , just so you know which works for you, or which one doesn't. Probably both will.?! Hope this helps.

Re: cameras slowness...any solutions?

changing those settings makes no difference at all, these cameras are just dreadfully slow to AF (auto-focus) & there is not much you can do about it.

Changing the brightness setting to minus two actually speeds it up slightly as it fools it into thinking there is more light available.........
