Keyboards ? / Complaints

Anyone satisfied with the lack of different key boards? I've had the Verizon version of the touch and have loved it. The Touch had several different keyboard options and although I used the touch keypad for the majority of my input I also liked to use the plain old keyboard sometimes. I looked in the settings and couldnt find any options??? Also, even though the screen is bigger the keys seem smaller??

Overall I am not satisfied YET with this phone. It is not the one handed phone that the touch is.

The stylus is in a terrible place but I can get used to it over time.

Yes I know I am whining but my first impression has not been favorable.

Re: Keyboards ? / Complaints

Well keyboards are easy to change and there are quite a few of them. I personally use TouchPal, and others that seem popular are SPB Keyboard, Resco Keyboard, and Finger Keyboard 2, with others available as well. I wouldn't make the stock keyboard a make it or break it deal, it's very easy to download and install a new one more to your liking. Unless you want a physical keyboard, then there's a totally different issue. =)

fwaits...

Can you get the press effect "vibrate" to work on the Imagio??

I just installed it since you recommended it and want a good keyboard but after playing with the settings I can not get the vibrate on press effect to work...

I use Touch Response and it seems to work fine for the entire phone. You can find the Settings for it after installing in the All Settings -> System section. The default setting only vibrates on press, but you can toggle it on release as well which I like and can adjust the speed it vibrates to fine tune how quick or slow the press effect is. It can be found here:
