Strage Question: TP2 Rom on Imagio?
 

You're prob thinking why would I even want to DOWNGRADE to the TP2 rom?

Well I have found that the TP2 & WM6.1 with the higher TF3D version was way less buggy than the Imagio setup, plus with way more support for landscape screens, it would seem to be better suited for the Imagio than the TP2.

My question is this:

I've heard that Official Roms can be installed without HSPL or an unlocker at all (i.e. restore stock rom) so would an Official TP2 install on the Imagio?

I figure, back track to WM 6.1 for a bit till VZW can get a proper build out there (if ever) or until HSPL hits the streets (for both TP2 and Imagio) and then install a proper custom rom by all the rockin' cookers out there.

Any thoughts?

no, it will not flash nor would it work if it did.
once we are unlocked though you will be able to flash a 6.1 rom with any manila version you want. well... probably not 1.2 since its vga and nobody is going to port it.
but you will be able to port over the tp2 rom if you want.

Yeah, I figured. I guess I can't wait till HSPL is out; this VZW bloated thing is getting pretty ridiculous :lol:

i know.... i am itching to get rid of this 6.5 build and maybe try the latest 2.5 manila.
good news is hspl is coming for tp2 so maybe it won't be long for us since the radios are so similar.
