Home Screen - adding color and quick links

Kind of like the HTC Leo coming out in the near future, can the current Imagio be tweaked easily to add color and quick links to the home page like in the attached screenshot. See the first pic (far left). Kind of like manila 2.5

Would this only be done with a new rom, hopefully someone will do this for the Imagio.

Not yet. manila 2.6 or whatever cannot be loaded at this time.

you think someone will come up with a rom or somthing like this for our Imagio, I would like to check it out.

Quick question, whenever I reboot the Imagio I see on the top left corner the word "Messaging" flashing sometimes, like it is loading it on startup yet I am not using this app at all.

Do you notice this, any advice to get rid of it.

Messaging is the built-in mail/SMS/MMS management app. If you have email configured using Activesync and/or send/receive SMS/MMS you are using it. It initializes at startup in the background normally, but on occasion you might catch a glimpse of it in the top bar as it loads.
