imagio memory?

seriously, i got NOTHING running that i can SEE, and out of 179.50mb total program memory available, ~115 is used at all times, even on start up i only have ~65 free. and thats with everything closed after use.

wtf is using 115mb of program memory?

my guess is all the crap verizon puts in the phone, but i could be wrong.

where is there a stripped down ROM? im so used to blackberrys that i just delete everything practically except core necessities for it to operate and its easy. sorry for ignorance but i havent messed with winmo very much for at least 2 years and even then i never messed with the roms.

for me, i dont want or need the following
vcast mobile tv
vcast anything
vz nav
bing
visual voicemail
windows live
help menus
O get applications
win mobile marketplace
sim manager
album program (there are 2!!!)
touchflo 3d

MY THEORY, is that vcast TV is eating the s**t out of program memory.

anyone else got any ideas?

oh, and if you havent figured out by now im NOT running TF3d at all, im using the old school winmo homepage

DelWMPTempF... ?
HTCStartUp - I assume I need this?

DelWMPTempFolder = Removes items in the WMP Temp Folder on startup. Cleanup script, shouldn't take up memory.

poutlook = Pocket Outlook, basically the Messaging app on the device. Unless you don't use email/SMS/MMS you want this.

Not 100% sure on a couple other ? items there. I'll see if I can figure them out.

Anyone else noticing memory used increasing over time like a memory leak? When I reset I'm sitting at about 53% after a couple days and no programs shown running it seems to creep up to low 80's?

Guys -

Look around there are several threads regarding this, both here and over at XDA. Here are just 2 of them:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=569183

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...+push+internet

Just installing those 2 cabs helps tremendously.

I also deleted all of the Verizon stuff in the windows/startup folder, and installed HTCAddicts cleanRAM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=514333

All of this should get your Ram usage down in the 50s
