TomTom Navigator problems

Ok, I know my gps works as google maps runs flawlessly but I'm having serious trouble with TomTom.

I've used 7.910.9185, 7.915.9196, and 7.9189 with horrendous results; too laggy to use (tells me to turn well after I've made the turn) and I've turned off all POI's (which has been reported to make it lag) with no benefit.

Has anyone found a version that runs well or is it just my Imagio? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Be careful about asking for maps. People get REALLY touchy about it. I myself have been looking to purchase maps for the US but I can't seem to find them anywhere on TomTom's site or online.

I gave up and started using IGo8. Google is your friend. Runs great and looks great as well.

Install TomTom Home & connect your phone. You will be able to download the newest maps from TomTom.
