Re: which microSD card?

I bought the Transcend 8gb microSDHC Class 6 from Newegg.com and it works fine so far.

Re: which microSD card?

I have the exact card that you posted and it works perfectly. I only avoided the 16 GB cards because of cost, but they will work just fine.

Re: which microSD card?

Same here. Avoided 16gb because of cost. Check the reviews at Newegg.com. Sometimes someone will post a review with the exact device you have that will confirm it's working. Saw quite a few reviews over there for cards working in Touch Pro2. Agree 16gb should work but I have seen cases where I would have trouble with one size card from the same manufacturer so best to check reviews if you can. Let us know if you grab a card and it works so others will know it's confirmed working.

Re: which microSD card?

pretty sure the cutoff is 32 gig.
after that the card will change like it did for sdhc and will not be compatible.

Re: which microSD card?

I'm using a Sandisk 16gb class 2 microsd with no issues at all. I'm really waiting for a 32gb card because I'm having to extremely limit the amount of music I can lay on the card because of the size limitation. Even 32 gb will cause me to have to pick and choose but not to the extreme level that only having 16 gb is causing.

Re: which microSD card?

picked up 16gb from newegg for only 49.99, RiData Class 6. I receive it tomorrow and i'll post the results once i sync a bunch of stuff to it.

I thought that microSD tops out at 16GB. Even if they theoretically can go higher.

Re: which microSD card?

isn't class 2 too slow?

I thought about getting a 16gb card, but all the ones on sale are always class 2s.

Re: which microSD card?

I bought a sandisk class 2 16gb at the beginning of this year for my Touch Pro. I use the same card for my Pro 2. There have never been any problems. I got my card from ebay for 45.00 and free shipping. I wonder what's taking them so long coming out with the 32gb cards. I hope this info helps a pinch!
