Imagio Hard Reset?

So I have the battery cover off, and I have the nice little red button for the soft-reset, but what about resetting completely to stock (i.e. erasing all personal data, etc).

I remember on my Touch Pro, it was something like [volume down + power + reset button, hold until boot].

Anyone know on the imagio?

Re: Imagio Hard Reset?

Its in the users manual. Pg.137 and 138

But here you go..
With the phone turned off, press and hold the VOLUME DOWN, TALK/SEND, and END/POWER buttons

Release the VOLUME DOWN, TALK/SEND, and END/POWER buttons.
Press the VOLUME UP button to restore the operating system to the factory default configuration,
press the VOLUME DOWN button to restore the factory default configuration and remove any operator

customization, or press any other button to cancel the reset.

Now hit Thanks !

Remove operator customization? Hmmm...like hard resetting the HTC Fuze but soft resetting before the customization screen?

Re: Imagio Hard Reset?

Wow... if they actually let you remove all of the bloatware like that, that would be awesome. I'm definitely going to try it once mine comes in the mail

Hopefully that can keep us at least somewhat satisfied until Hard SPL comes out for the phone.

I tried that option and doesn't delete the bloatware , it's just a normal hard reset.

There is not a single device out there that after a Hard Reset, will remove the bloatware that was installed through the RUU or burned onto the chip at the factory without an unlocked SPL. The only items that can be removed with out a Hacked SPL are the files not marked as "Read Only", and applications/bloatware installed after the RUU or factory burn to the ROM chip.

Sure, on my device which is a Touch Pro2, I hold down vol down and power at the same time from when the device is OFF

Re: Imagio Hard Reset?

Hard resetting is just like the TP2. Power off device, then hold down the volume down and the send and end keys at the same time. BTW the power key is the end key...
