So this (Diamond 2/Whitestone) passed thru the FCC last month, but we still have NO IDEA when its gonna hit Verizon? Somebody's gotta know. And now that the TP2 has hit, you'd think we would hear something. Sorry for the vent. Carry on.

Hopefully we get some info soon on this, depending on the specs, I might return my Verizon Touch Pro 2 and get the Diamond 2 instead.

I just hope it's before my 14 (or 30?) day trial period is up.

The software maker said on Tuesday that the first phones running Windows Mobile 6.5 will launch worldwide on October 6 and will include phones running on AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon Wireless.

It doesn't mention updates to current phones but the launch of phones running 6.5. I know the initial specs listed 6.1 but I'm not sure Microsoft want phones launching after 10/6 to launch without 6.5. Just speculating but I'm hopeful.

Oh man... if this thing has a MicroSD slot, I'm SOLD. I'm gonna miss the speaker on my Touch Pro 2 though...

Also... I see a front facing video camera. Are we sure these are legit? lol.

I am gonna return my TP2 for sure! I have had the TP2 since 9-12-09 and must say that it is schweet! The only gripe is the qwerty keyboard....I have not used it more than 5 times in the past two weeks. The only reason I have slid it out is to tilt the screen and comfortably watch a couple of movies on a business trip. BYE BYE TP2..hello TD2 (Imagio)
