Hi Guys I,m new to your site, can anyone help?.I've just purchased through Ebay an htc Imagio 6.5 windows phone which they say was unlocked for any network. I sometimes find it difficult to access the net as it keeps saying unable to connect on Opera. It was on the verizon network and i,m sure its trying to connect to their network .Also can i also download yahoo go v2.00 ok for my phone?

Are you able to get it working thru WiFi? If you have the same issues thru WiFi, maybe there is something else going on.

I don't use data connection but the settings on my phone are as follows:

Start >> Settings >> Connections >> Modem

There should be an entry (usually named Verizon) which dials the number #777. If there isn't any entry, create a new entry, use Cellular Line as the modem with the number #777. In the login info screen, leave everything empty. In the Advanced settings, use the first option for Servers and TCP/IP, i.e. use server assigned addresses. Under proxy settings, check "This network connects to the Internet".

If everything is set as above and there is still an issue, you may not have a good data network in your area! You may want to check it out in an area where the data connection is better, to figure out if it is your phone, settings, or the network itself!
