I waited 3 Years for my Verizon iPhone
I even got my Verizon iPhone early - 2/7/11 - to replace my Imagio.
BTW - my Imagio has been giving me intermittent problems. I need to restart it 2-3 times a day. After 48 hours of iPhone use - I had to send it back to Verizon and turn my Imagio back on. I did love the speed of the iPhone and User Interface. But for me there were TWO Deal Breakers. I receive 300-500 e-mails a day. I use the Imagio feature on my Bluetooth headset to READ the e-mail or SMS messages. I work at home and have never had a signal problem anywhere. The iPhone had one bar at best. After having THREE calls go to voice mail without the phone ringing - that was my tipping point. It is gone and I bought a USED Imagio which might not need to be rebooted so often as mine. It is a darn good phone that I have owned since 10/09 |

I am glad that your are sticking with WM! It may not be perfect but at least you can customize it.

I could not get any Apps on iPhone to do that. But even with it on the Imagio - it doesn't always work. That is what I thought I could find with iPhone - Something that works 100% of the time. OH WELL |
Re: I waited 3 Years for my Verizon iPhone
My wife got her iphone the other day, she has not put it down since. I'm not going to bash it, the activation process was so easy and quick I thought she was doing something wrong. The UI is just seamless. I think that's why so many people flock to it. Not something I will be getting as I need to be able to hack and personalize so I'm waiting on the Bionic or Thunderbolt.
