Cool What can I do with my Imagio's?

I have two Imagio's just sitting around since the wife and I made the switch to Android. It just seems like a waste of a good gadget to be sitting in a drawer. Any ideas?

They both currently have Energy ROMs. One with plain Titanium and SPB Mobile Shell. And since they both have crappy buttons, I don't think selling them is really an option.

So what can one do with two wifi enabled WinSlo devices?

Cell Phones for Soldiers - Donate a Phone

you can always find cheap sim cards with minutes in places like the middle east, korea and africa. having a phone to use the sim cards in is another story. if you dont have any use for your phones, donate them to soldiers so they can talk with their family while serving over seas...

Re: What can I do with my Imagio's?

I had thought of that, but my first thought was one of guilt for donating a phone that would probably piss of the soldiers more than help. Agian, the buttons don't work.

Do they refurb the phones before handing them out? If they are going to test the phone and throw it away because the buttons don't work, it would again feel like a waste.

If anything maybe they would get some entertainment from throwing the thing on the ground and putting some bullet holes through it.

Re: What can I do with my Imagio's?

Do the buttons not work or do you have to press down hard on them to work? I have lost the "click" in a couple of the buttons but they do work if I press down hard. The Imagio is a decent phone except for this design fault involving the buttons.

If the buttons do work and you plan to donate them to the Soldiers, it may be a good idea to unlock the SIM before sending them. Or at least place a note with the phone(s) stating the SIM has to be unlocked.

Re: What can I do with my Imagio's?

the imagio is not useless without the hard buttons, you do not need the hard buttons at all to use all the functions on the imagio. i barely use mine, if at all, everything a hard button can do, you can do with the touch screen...

How do you bring it out of the sleep mode or turn it on once it is turned off?

simple as downloading and installing FPSeCe from fpsece.net you can use the free version or you can get the supporter version as its very cheap and worth it imo even if you dont use the app that much.

as far as pairing the ps3 controller to work with your phone download cobalt controller (google it) connect the ps3 controller to your pc via usb cable and then pair your phone to computer via bluetooth, input your phones MAC address and run the pairing process, it will make your ps3 controller only pair to your phone =D

lemme know if you need any help with this and ill see what i can do to help

memoriesuntold@gmail.com as i dont spend a whole lot of time on the site
