windows 6.5 Update
 

I am running OS: 5.2.21849 BUILD: 21849.5.0.63 on my HTC Imagio and have noticed that on the newer windows mobile phones the interface is different. The start button at the bottom, new txt message interface... I really want to update to the new build.

Does anyone know where I can find the update?

I have verizon but I don't think that will affect the build....

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/imagio-development/ just about every Rom is gonna be 6.5 manila 2.5... ie start menu at the bottom, quick link homescreen....... just a FYI, most people run CHT which is probably what your seeing VS. it just being 6.5...

Just to let you know, you are already running WM 6.5. What you are asking about is WM 6.5.x, where "x" is either 3 or 5.
Most likely you are only going to see 6.5 and 6.5.3 (this is the branch that actually got released on public phones) these days, as 6.5.5 has halted development some time ago.

6.5 = Start Menu in the top left and less finger friendly
6.5.x = Start Menu in the bottom left and focused on finger friendliness

The only way you will be able to get the newer builds on your device is to flash a custom ROM. I seriously doubt that the Imagio will ever get an official OS update.

Thanks for the help. But I think I may need a little more help. Can you give me a link to the ROM(?) I should choose? I don't want to screw up my phone.

I don't use the HTC interface. It was slow and froze every 2 seconds. I use the windows default. It works better than the HTC (sense?) I probably wouldn't go back to the sense, I like the windows setup.
