when building a new ROM from the kitchen, what determines how fast it will be? Are there specific things to include/exclude, or settings, that make for faster response time?

super. I'll read the directions there. If you have any suggestions on options or things to include/exclude for maximum speed and stability, please let me know. Also, if there is any not-too-difficult way to include software I own (with registration codes) in the ROM so that I don't have to reinstall everything each time, and/or to save settings/preferences (so I don't have to reset everything each time), I'd love to know about it.

thanks again,

Mike

i doubt it has a virus, it just reads like one to your AV program. same thing happend to me when i installed my kitchen. just turn your AV program off or ignore the warning when installing...

HSLP will also give you a false positive.

No your no missing anything, It is a false positive. I have my Virus Scanner set to ignore the directory that I have OsKitchen stored in aswell as other ROM utilities. There are a few tools out there that will throw out a virus warning (like a custom RUU). But trust me there is nothing to worry about.
