Re: Windows Mobile 7

i may be wrong, things change everyday as people find new ways to make software work in ways it never was meant to in the first place, but from everything ive read wp7 is not backwards compatible and the imagio just doesnt have the hardware capability to run wp7...

Its NOT Windows phone 7 now..its Windows Embedded 7...which my guess would be possible to port if HTC releases a device with it :/...which may prove difficult..

Re: Windows Mobile 7

I know this isn't what you are looking for, but if you just want the look and feel of WP7, you can run this:

WindowsPhone7 v.2 Theme by Fireslave

It runs surprisingly smooth on the Imagio and it is very close to WP7

It will never happen because Windows Phone & requires specific hardware which the Imagio does not have. The only non Windows Phone 7 device that might have a shot is the HD2. I did see a video of it loading it.

HTC HD2 Running Windows Phone 7? (Video)
