Audible stops when screen blanks

I was upgraded to the Imagio from the Touch Pro 2 by Assurion. I listen to books from Audible more than any other function. On the TP2 when the screen blanked Audible would still play.

However, on the Imagio when the screen blanks Audible stops playing. I have turned deactivated the "Turn off device..." function but the battery goes dead quickly.

Does anyone have an idea of how to fix this.

Are you running a custom ROM? Is there another application you can use that will play the audio books/is it a streaming podcast?

I saw the same thing with the stock ROMs from Verizon, WinMo 6.1. But audible works as you want using WinMo 6.5 in Energy's Titanium Roms from October and November. It's probably ver 6.5 that's the key, but i've not tried other ROMs.
