I don't know about the battery door, but before you buy, make sure you are looking at the correct battery.

The one you listed is for the HTC Hero. I don't know if they are the same, but just make sure you get the right one.

How much more life do you get for a 20% increase (1500 to 1800 mAh)? I doubt the claim that it gives "4 to 5 times the battery that HTC ships". I bought spare batteries from China on eBay and they don't last as long as the original battery.
