So long Imagio, another Windows Phone 7 convert

I've really enjoyed the support from this forum, and NRG's ROM's over the past year, but this morning I picked up a Samsung Focus which I'm completely thrilled with so far. The performance is absolutely amazing.

Anyway, I'm outta here!

Jason

Cool Re: So long Imagio, another Windows Phone 7 convert

so funny 'cause i spent 30 min playing with one today doing some shopping. ya i was real close too, but AT&T coverage blows across the south so I backed out.

was sweet. can't really say it's any faster than any other smart phone post "generic 500mhz 76xx chip". but it was a nice looking, slick piece. really liked the screen VS the htc & LG screens. didn't like the plastic feel, but like HTC samsung has a 1 year warranty so... who cares if it breaks lol

Re: So long Imagio, another Windows Phone 7 convert

I agree about the plasticy feeling, that turned me off initially as well. But I bought a Body Glove rubberized cover for it and now that's no longer an issue.

Regarding speed, the AT&T rep in the store told me that when they got the WP7 phones, the staff did some side by side speed tests of WP7, iPhone, and Android and said that, surprisingly, the WP7 phone felt faster than even the iPhone. My wife has an iPhone 4 and last night she played with the Focus for about 10 minutes and she also told me that the Focus generally felt faster than her iPhone.

I'm super impressed with the Focus as what's basically a v1 device.
