Re: rightsoftkey

What is your right key supposed to do?
How did you disable touchflow?
Have you checked the registry setting? It may not be correct if you have touchflo turned off.
Does the program referenced by the registry setting exist and/or work with touchflo turned off?
Here's a link to the registry key setting for Manila. I'm not sure if it works when you have touchflo turned off, but you haven't given out a lot of information.

Re: rightsoftkey

On mine with TF3D turned off the right soft key is Contacts and it works.

Re: rightsoftkey

I turned off touchflow (as I assume mastergadgets did) by unchecking the entry under <settings><Today><Items>. The right softkey is supposed to be Contacts shortcut. Not sure where to check registry - that's why I'm asking the question. Apparently, mastergadgets did what I did and is getting the same thing I used to. I'm now getting an error message. I was looking for some help in diagnosing the problem.

Re: rightsoftkey

Have you tried launching Contacts from Start > Contacts?
Does that work?

Re: rightsoftkey

Works fine from <Start><Contacts> or from iLauncher. The right softkey works fine from anyother screen except <Today>.

Re: rightsoftkey

It sounds like something you may have installed has changed the registry entry for the right softkey and now that application has been removed or un-installed but did not change the right softkey entry back to original. Unfortunately I can not find the registry entry.
Sorry!

Try this app. It is supposed to allow you to remap the softkeys to what you want.
SoftKey manager freeware for Windows Mobile Phone.

Re: rightsoftkey

Can you please navigate your registry to:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Today\Keys\11 3]

and tell us what the two string values are?

Or, if you just want the default name and behavior of that key, just delete the two strings and it will revert back to default.

Re: rightsoftkey

Gonna be a problem - I have no /Microsoft/Homes/. Microsoft is there but Homes isn't. I have UserKeys under HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Comm/Security/Crypto/UserKeys/Microsoft Enhanced Cryptography/*Default* with a value of "..."
