how to move PIM info (contacts, calendar) to DINC

is therea way to move my calendar/contacts files to my HTC incredible?? I never really synced these features because I dont have the compatible software on my PC and my AOL email account never seemed to support it either. Now that I moved to Droid I had to get a gmail account.
So... any ideas? I moved all the files over too my pc and tried to import the PIM/backup info (which uses PIM backup on my WM device) so my bsckups are only opened using PIM programs i guess.
What about using the PIM files on the device memory?? I have tons of info and REALLY am dreading hand-typing it all into gmail!
HELP!!

I typed it all into my Gmail contacts list and Google calendar, and then it synced to the phone automatically. Still a pain, but easier and quicker than typing it into the phone.

From GMail

Quote:

We support importing CSV files from Outlook, Outlook Express, Yahoo! Mail, Hotmail, Eudora and some other apps. We also support importing vCard from apps like Apple Address Book.Learn more
If your PC is a Windows machine, Outlook Express comes preinstalled.
So sync your phone to Outlook Express, then export to a CSV file and import into GMail.

I used Bluetooth to send all my contacts from my old iPAQ to WM 6.5 HTC Imagio. You might want to check if you can do that with the Incredible too. I have not tried to send calendar info though.

if you still have the imagio and if it has wifi, connect it to wifi and set up active sync account with Google. it will auto sync your cal and contacts, and your Google base android device will sync instantly maybe 10 secs at most after your wm finishes syncing it will all be on your droid.

Setting Up Your Windows Mobile Phone for Google Sync : Mail, Calendar & Contacts Sync - Google Mobile Help check this link, it will help. you can ignore important notice at top. If you sync with pc prioror to this, then it will want to set up things like make changes to pc, or changes to device when things change (contacts, things like that) and since you just want to pull all info off as is, don't sync with pc and let those settings make changes to your account before you sync/transfer
