Importing files, ect to imagio

I use my phone through windows mobile to sink files in Outlook. There are many times when I am out on the road with my notebook and online via my aircard.

While I am not interested in trying to sync the phone with two different computers, at times, I would like to be able to copy cab or other files to my Imagio phone. Is this possible?

Again, I have found this forum so helpful and any direction here would be appreciated?

Jer

Yes- when you insert your USB cable from your phone to a computer you are not syncing with - normally a menu will open on your phone asking you...

1. Active Sync

2. Disk Drive

Tick off "Disk Drive" and then when you go to "My Computer" you will see your phone listed there as a mass storage device and you can simply transfer files as you would with a memory card.

If for some reason the dialog box doesn't pop up - on your phone you can go to your start menu/settings/all settings/connections/usb to pc/ and from there enable "Disk Drive".

And a little info - when the contract is up on your air card - do you know that you can use your Imagio as an air card and it would save you $30 a month (or more depending on how you decide to use it)?

Re: Importing files, ect to imagio

Thanks "guy" (or do you prefer 'thepolishguy'?) I do appreciate your prompt reply and have observed what you refer to. That will mean I can do the same thing at anyone's PC. As to your comments on using the phone instead of paying for the "ATT" air card. I had thought about that but wondered about having one interfere with the other. Like, being on line, surfing the net or researching a project, and, having the phone disabled because of such. Eventually that was going to be one of my questions. Can your phone multi task in this fashion?
Thanks again for your patience
