Re: Overclock the Imagio

I tried the CAB (and didn't over-do the recommended settings), but noticed that the device would never wake up after going to sleep - I had to press the reset button. I then tried to get rid of it with "Remove programs" and the little spinning thing (the 4 colored dots) stopped spinning but didn't move off the list of programs screen. It appears to be stuck... I rebooted with the reset button, and the same thing happened - "XDA oruam57 SetCPuSpeed is still on the list - how do I uninstall this CAB??

Though I haven't done it, here's the info from post #28 (you may have to reinstall to uninstall):
To easily uninstall the CAB without problems perform these steps in order:

1) Pull SD card
2) Soft-reset
3) After WM/Sense/etc has loaded completely (and you get the error message about the shortcut target SetCpuSpeed.exe not being found), insert the SD again
4) Uninstall CAB

Re: Overclock the Imagio

Ah. Thanks, that seems to have done it. Too bad - I would have liked to overclock but constant freezes aren't worth it.

Re: Overclock the Imagio

I can confirm that the phone freezes during some calls. I was talking to my friend when I heard the call waiting beep. I went to go to my phone and I could not turn it on, it stayed black. I was still able to talk to my friend from the first call, but had no choice but to take out the battery to get back into the phone. I am using stock rom but installed the 25012 manilla 2.5 upgrade. The thing is it's not every call, but it does happen at least once a day

Same here.. not every call but it does hang. I wonder if it has something to do with the fact that the screen goes black when its near your face but lights up when pulled away???????????

Re: Overclock the Imagio

Well stepped it down a notch from 748 to 729 and the freezing stopped.....seems fine now, running titanium and stock rom.

I find that it hangs only after a call when i use the hardware button to hang up ...if I wait for the soft button 'end call 'to show up (from dark screen ) and hit that ..all is good. Im using the cab @ 710. any more than 710 and im getting bsod 1/hr....its only once a day @710(usually when i forget and hit the hardware key)

Re: Overclock the Imagio

Update - I uninstalled. Just when I thought it was ok, back would come the BSOD's and soft-resets.
