My Voice Fades during a call

Hello,

Almost a couple of times a day when the headset is pressed to my ear, the other party claims my voice fades away and then returns when I adjust the phone. This is the second physical unit I have experienced this with and it never happens through Bluetooth audio. I am currently using Steve's ROM, but experienced this with stock ROMs and SPBShell and other ROMs. Other than the lack of power, this is the only really inconvenient factor. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

I have never had any one tell me that my voice faded during calls. Hope you get something figured out.
