Question Removing TV icon from notification bar after upgrading to MR1

The following steps listed in previous posts worked to remove the TV icon from the notification bar in the original Imagio ROM:

Delete keys Launch95 and Depend95 from HKLM\Init folder in registry.
Remove HKLM\Services\MFLORSSI

Since upgrading to the new MR1 ROM this hack no longer works. Has anyone tried to remove the TV icon after upgrading to the MR1 ROM (XV6975 MR1 Upgrade) and have instructions how to do so?

@nsa_sailor

Boy, I swore I tried renaming that dll and it caused the same issue. I tried again, after your suggestion, and it seems to work fine this time. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!!!

Re: Removing TV icon from notification bar after upgrading to MR1

This is what I did on my MR1 Imagio:

Delete:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\init\Launch95
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\init\Depend95
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Sevices\MFLORSSI

It worked fine on my Imagio with MR1 installed...in fact, two of them. Did the OP delete the keys in the init folder as well?
