SNES Emulator?

Does anyone know of a SNES emulator that works with touch screen phones like the Imagio? I have looked everywhere but cant find anything.

Re: SNES Emulator?

I can confirm that morphgear does not work on the imagio.

As for why we would want one...

The screen input isnt terrible by any means. (as long as its properly calibrated)

theres a number of ways around the "multi-touch" issue, including but not limited to an app that generates multi-touch capability on resistive screens.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=484555

we also have 5 hardware keys that could be mapped. and the volume toggle could be mapped as well putting us at 7. thats way more than needed for a controller.

ive got an app called dual touch that demonstrates the multi-touch potential on the imagio, i cant find the file right now but ill try to post it later.

Do you know for sure that the Morphgear from the above link does not work?

MorphGearPPC2003.ARM.CAB
SNES9xPPC2003.ARM.CAB

gamepadPortrait.txt

Morphgear works on my imagio but not on the 6.5.x only on 6.5. Install morphgear first then the snes addon. Then copy the two gamepad files to the skins folder inside program files/morphgear on your device. Go into settings and select snes settings. Change the image size to auto scale and change the skin to the wvga pad.

Too bad I'm running 6.5.5. Anyone have a solution for 6.5.x? All I want to to is run a SNES or Genesis emulator.

Re: SNES Emulator?

Just do a google search for snes roms and you'll find plenty of compatible games to use with morphgear. Although without multi touch support, the best games for our imagio would be rpgs or games that dont require intense button use.

Re: SNES Emulator?

we need to find a way to map to the hardware keys. we have 5.

put the navigation pad on the screen and map the other buttons to the hardware keys.
