phone not recognized by usb
 

ive just formatted my computer and hard spl'd my phone, but now it is not being picked up by windows media device center. i get the option to active sync it on my phone, but nothing more. does anyone know what could be wrong?

Well -just to clarify - did you do anything else? I mean -did you already install a custom rom?

Any ways - here is just one suggestion. Go to Start Menu. Settings. Connections. USB to PC.

Check to see your settings there. If "Enable faster data synchronization" is checked -uncheck it. My Imagio will not connect to sync with this option.

Is your mircoSD card plugged in? If so... remove the memory card and plug in your phone. once its connected you can plug the card in.

1. reboot pc, try different cable and usb port.
2. activesync (wmdc) has an option to uncheck usb connections both on the pc and ppc, so make sure those didn't get changed.
3.... lets hope 1 or 2 works..
