Battery Bar

I found this program that just installs very easily and gives you a thin battery strength bar across the top of the screen. The bar changes colors as the bayyery strength goes down.

I hated not having the time available when on the phone or in certain programs like reading programs.

After you install this, you can go to settings/all settings/ clock and alarms/ and check "display the clock on the title bar in all, programs". Best of both worlds.

The bar changes white and shows how much the battery is charged when plugged in. (All colors are adjustable in the configuration program as is bar width).

IMPORTANT: Do a soft reset after installation. I had one freeze up on re-boot, did a soft reset and it's worked perfectly ever since.

Now I understand, so you're saying they ripped off the program. So if that's the case then BATTI is a rip-off because that feature has been part of Facade for years, all the way back to 2003.

Besides, if you think BATTI is such a great piece of software and it is proven to work on our devices, then maybe you should just let people know about it, and why it is better than BATTERY BAR other than that it was out sooner. Just because it was out first doesn't make it better.

I'm more interested in something that works reliably, and battery bar is reliable and massively customizable. It also is a windows service program so it is extremely efficient and won't slow down the device.

BattClock 2.0 is a great battery app.
Shows the unused batt % and the amount of free memory on the taskbar.

Yeah, the only thing I didn't like about the version of BATTCLOCK that I tried was that the time was in military format. Maybe there's another version that can be configured to 12 hr format, but I didn't see one. That's why I liked Battery Bar'cause I could use the windows taskbar clock which is also large enough for my crappy eyes to read. I also like having an easy to glance at bar that's color changing as the level goes down as well. A quick glance and I know my battery levels.

BattClock 2.0 does not use military time.

You're right. The new HTC one can be set for either.

The only thing I didn't like was that it does cpu updates every 1 second when screen is active. That sounds like one more thing to use the battery. But hey, if that's not an issue, then why not?

Re: Battery Bar

if your cpu and battery can't handle spending a hand full of clock cycles when its already running you need to go back to pen & paper...
