returning a phone

my buttons got stuck so i will be getting a new phone. does this mean i have to reflash to verizon rom + relock my phone?

to play it safe...i deff would. verizon looks for any way to f*** you. even though flashing has nothing to do with broken buttons, theres a good chance they might try something. if you check out the upgrades forum the stock rom was posted a long time back.

+1 always revert and lock. For manufacturer exchanges they have checked devices in the past for water damage, case disassembly, and aftermarket softwares.

Definitely re-flash stock rom and re-lock. It is not just a "suggestion". Unlocking your phone voids your warranty. so if you send it unlocked you are done for. game over.

I am not trying to be a butthead -just want to make sure you don't get burned.

If you go to the above link, read through the info, towards the bottom of the page there is a blue link to download the relocker.
