p.s. Big Red threw in a 2 gb memory card. hads this been standard for the Incredible?

Yeah , the apps are great. Got one that tracks my UPS shipments , and one that warns me when I am near a radar trap when driving , and 50,000 other great ones for almost anything.

if I get jealous I an early upgrade eligible but would blow the $100 ne2 that doesn't come until November. I'll try to be patient

Well , this is the first HTC / VZW phone that I have had in 10yrs that works exactly like it is susposed to right out of the box with no mods.
And with the 2.2 Froyo update it will be as fast as a phone can be.

I have to admit it is really awesome. Not sure how to get my hands on one. My wife won't hand hers over. With that said, using my wife's Incredible also made me realize my Imagio with NRG custom ROM is REALLY GOOD!

I got the Imagio the day it came out and loved it. I still love it, BUT I got the Incredible a few days before it came out.... and, I hate to say, it smokes the Imagio in all ways. I am SO not putting down the Imagio, I really love that phone, expecially with some of the ROMs that have been coming out but when I can sell it for basically the same price as I paid for my Incredible there isn't really a decision to make.

I think what I miss about the Imagio is that solid feeling. I like the weight and feel of that machine. The Incredible feels light and cheap to me... but that is a matter of personal preference.

Two of the guys here in my office actually canceled their ATT contracts and went to VZ after messing with my Incredible too. In their words, it is the iphone slayer.

I wish I could afford not to sell my Imagio... man, I really love that phone... but...

I'd switch to the Incredible, except I'm not eligible for an upgrade until spring and I'm sure something even better will be out by then.

Windows Phone 7 just doesn't look like my cup of tea. And I like Sense UI, so there'd be some familiarity while adjusting to Android. I'm not a Google fan by any means, but I think I can get past that. I'm sure there must be a nice Bing app for Android.

By far the biggest disappointment is the build quality. For such a premium phone it looks really cheap.

I was a long time WinMo user that recently switched from the Imagio to the Incredible. After using the Incredible for a week or so I'm wondering why I didn't switch from WinMo sooner. Really, I like it that much better. It's so much smoother and responsive. It doesn't lag at all. I'm still able to access our business network remotely and securely, get all my outlook info, etc. plus all the added apps that are available. Only thing that isn't great is the battery life. It's actually worse than the Imagio was and I thought that was bad out of the box without tweaking the settings.

A couple of the things I do miss are the wifi hotspot and Slingplayer Mobile. But hopefully those will be released soon.
