just got to play with a hd2

just got back from walmart and got to play with an hd2 that thing is huge
fast to although not as fast as imagio dont know if its tmobile service but i compared web pages against vz and vz came through watched transformers on looked good
im not sure if im sold on tmobiles service
it is one sweet phone
also dont know if i wana wait for another hspl lol
149 2 yr contract or 535 buy out right
quick question if anyones knows since both are global can we just swap sim cards
and use on vz network?

The sim card in verizon phones is only used for global access through vodaphone. Verizon uses CDMA technology in the US which doesn't use a sim card at all. T-mobile is GSM so that would not work.

unlocked doesnt change the frequencies that it operates on. its a GSM based phone, it doesnt even have the CDMA radio built into it...

and seriously, if this was possible, dont you think people would have had the iPhone on VZW already?

Yeah, no CDMA = no Verizon. Personally I would just wait for the HTC Incredible to come out on Verizon, it's supposedly slated for an April release:

It is an android phone, but it has almost the exact same internals as the HD2. No global capabilities though

Yeah I am jumping on the Andriod ship when the HTC Incredible comes out. Not liking to look of WM7 and its features. Which sucks cuz I love my WIN mobile phones.......
