HELP: Is there a *228 like option on GSM?
So I'm overseas as of today (the UK specifically) and it didn't occur to me that by flashing ROMs, I would lose phone activation. Now I can make calls on my phone using the SIM included (the Verizon/Vodafone one), but the data settings seem to be missing (probably due to not activating or something). Is there an activation option for GSM that is like *228 that I can use to get data back, or a setting I can change, or am I stuck with a brick (albeit a cool looking brick) for a week?

You can try calling global services - +1 (908 ) 559-4899 or in the UK 0800-279-5088
They were able to get my data working while I was in the Philippines. I don't believe there is a charge for the call if you use the UK number, but don't quote me on that.
