Trouble Upating Weather

The last several days late in the afternoon 3-7pm haven't been able to update the weather. Get error message saying"There was a connection error while attempting to download weather data". Works fine again around 8pm. Anyone having proglems with the accuweather weather server ?

I have that problem occasionally, but usually it's when I have a 3G connection but no bars of service. Verizon was also apparently having data outages the last couple of days, but the problem should be fixed.

Didn't know about the problem with VZW , was just about to call them. I figured there was a server problem somewhere. Thanks.

No , I have the stock HTC weather updater. Last night it wouldn't update at all. This morning I did a hard reset and could update. The temp are 3-4 degrees lower than weather channel and accuweather on my laptop. The weather on my phone worked perfect on my phone until three days ago.
there must be some server problems at accuweather. At least it will update now , just not accurate temps. Still 5 degrees too low.

Now my location is updating , but the city setting is stuck on the same temp for last to hours witch is 10 degrees lower than actual temp. My location is about 4 degrees lower than actual temp. STRANGE.

I think it is a problem with the accuweather servers. I have accuweather on my laptop and it is showing a temp that is 8 degrees too low . I have been checking with the weather channel. I was getting that error message you are getting so I did a hard reset . After I did the reset the weather was able to update ( no error message ) but the temps are 5 -8 degrees too low, like my laptop. Got to be a problem at accuweather's servers. Right now my phone is back to stock ( no Sense yet ) just 3.04 / 2.25 and I just updated it again and it is better this time , only 3 degrees off now , so it's not the phone .
I remember conflipper has had server problems with accuweather on his weather cabs. Maybe it will get worked out today.

I reloaded Sense 2.5 2012 , and the My Location setting updates fine but when I try to update the city setting I get the connection error message and it will not update.

They posted on the Touch Pro thread that the weather servers are down, that's the answer.
