Re: Pandora on Imagio?

There's no reason why it shouldn't work on stock. The updated ROM available now doesn't effect which programs work on the phone.

Re: Pandora on Imagio?

On the pandora post linked in this very thread there are two .cab files shown and no one discusses what differs between them of what one to choose.
I am simply repeating the same link so you know that we are looking at the same thing:
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=104728

Post # 1 has a larger (843.9 KB) Pandora .cab file.
Post # 2 has a slimmer 294.2 KB) Pandora .cab file.

What is the change from the post 1 and the post 2 cab files?
What one do I want for my Imagio?

Re: Pandora on Imagio?

is there a cab for WVGA screens? if we never see anything specific for the imagio, i'm hoping they'll pay attention to the HD2 at least, and something built for that should work for us too right?

Re: Pandora on Imagio?

I don't think there's a cab for Pandora specifically for the Imagio. I use the vga one. Kinda sucks but it works - text is really small and there's no way to fire the keyboard. To use the keyboard, you just activate it prior to launching Pandora and it should stay visible. Hope this helps.

Ok- the link in post #8 leads to the "iPollesion" version. -that one works with out having to do any strange modifications to your phone. It is also the same link that Max is ultimately linking to. Just download the cab and install it. I have the Imagio and I am using it and it works good. Only draw back is tiny little text.

VGA (Video Graphics Array 480x640) refers to screen resolution. The Imagio is WVGA (Widescreen Video Graphics Array 480x800) screen resolution.

But as drewcam888 points out in the post below this- Slacker Radio actually made a mobile app that has a great User Interface and I actually like some of their options better then Pandora.

Re: Pandora on Imagio?

The new official slacker radio program for wvga makes pandora obsolete.
