This is sooo new that the VZW customer and technical support folks dont know where to download it. I have tried at both the Windows Marketplace and the Handango VZW labelled app store and no go.

watch the embedded verizon video... you go to widgets using your fios box and initiate the download there (sends sms to your phone)

doing it now remotely... see "mobile remote" widget (never used those before widgets annoy me)

Re: Verizon FIOS Imagio Remote App

Tried to get this to work this weekend but no go. It wouldn't recognize my settop box even though it is an HD box (I'm assuming it should work with the HD/DVR box). I'm running the new 3.04 ROM with the Sense 2.5.2011 cab so I'm wondering if the software isn't compatible with the new ROM. Has anyone gotten this to work yet?

Re: Verizon FIOS Imagio Remote App

i'm on the newest ROM but disable HTC shovelware (use Titanium).

You need to initiate from the settop box and be on wifi.

It is a RAM hog though, like Sense.

Re: Verizon FIOS Imagio Remote App

It's pretty lame. I used it yesterday and found no practical reason to ever use it again. It's possibilities for future enhancement are promising. The most useful feature is the photo viewer that lets you "flick" your phone pics to your television screen. I was expecting a remote DVR scheduling capability of sorts. This thing only works in the comfort of your home within range of your existing WiFi network
