HTC Appointment Editor from Sense 2.5 (Updated)

chas123 has ported the Appointment Editor from Sense 2.5 over to 2.1 (And after trying it, I can confirm it works on 2.0 as well). The files and instructions for installing it are here:

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=107167

You can skip steps 2-4 as I've verified that we do not need to use the first cab and need the 2nd one noted in step 5. Very nice port and eliminates yet another of the clunky UI elements of the built in MW interface.

Edit: Standby, I froze up my Calendar Tab when selecting the Week View I think. Soft reset and it is still stuck on that screen with a blank view. Trying the framework cab mentioned in Step 9 as we might be missing files needed to make that work on TF3D 2.0.

Edit 2: Ok after uninstalling and reinstalling a couple times I kept having the problem with a blank Calendar Tab and finally traced the issue to a registry key that stores the last Calendar View setting which was the Week view. Apparently the Week view is bugged (at least with our build of TF3D) so as long as you don't use that everything else seems to work great.

I did change a registry key that makes the Calendar transparent as well for those that use custom wallpapers on all tabs.

HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila\Tweaks.CalendarHideBG = 1 (Defaults to 0)

Re: HTC Appointment Editor from Sense 2.5 (Updated)

For those who got stuck at "week view":

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\Manila]
"PreviousCalendarMode"=dword:0
That would put you back to "Month view"
I dont think Manila 2.0 calendar even has Week view.

Thanks Fwaits for the link.

Correct, I should have posted that as I had to use it once I got stuck in Week view. Other than that I have found no problems so far. I like the Agenda view. =)

This works but have you tried inviting an attendee? If you do it crashes. Any ideas?

I did this by clicking 'required attendee' --> 'Menu' --> 'Add recipient'. The screenshot says it all.
