auto rotate button with map key

First off thanks to Grezegorz10 for making this cab. The problem with Auto Rotate on Imagio is it is anoying to constantly rotating back and forth and you have to keep waiting for it to go from landscape to portrait now to make it work for Imagio you need to create string HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila -> add a new String Value with the name "EnableLandscape" and the value "true" (both without "") and Change HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila DisableRotation value to 0 from 1 then install rotate right/left cab which ever you perfer it will turn your right soft key into a rotate button but you can change that back to what ever you want and now you can map your rotate to any key you want go into setting personal buttons select rotate and any key you want no more annoying rotation

PS if you have any old auto rotate allready installed uninstall it first

UPDATE If you dont want Opera,Explorer,Calculator,Sms Ect to Rotate on it own and just rotate when you press the rotate button then go into HKCU\Software\HTC\HTCSENSOR\GSensor\WhiteList and delete those strings also HKCU\Software\HTC\HTCSENSOR\GSensor\ModuleName and delete those strings now your phone will ony rotate when you want it to

File Type: cab Rotate_Right_Button.CAB (7.1 KB, 19 views) Click for barcode!
File Type: cab Rotate_Left_Button.CAB (7.1 KB, 14 views) Click for barcode!

Re: auto rotate button with map key

Here is another method:

Using a registry editor go to "HKLM/System/GDI/Rotation".
Change "HideOrientationUI" from 1 to 0.
Change "LandscapeFixed" from 1 to 0.

This now gives you the option of choosing the 3 rotation options under "Screen" in system settings (Portrait, Landscape (right-handed), Landscape (left-handed)).

Now, under "Buttons" in the Personal settings you can map the media button to rotate the screen for you. This gives you the ability to rotate the screen whenever you want regardless of how you are holding the device. I find this much more useful than auto-rotation.
